Simple Turnip + Tomato Stew

OH, some nights I wish that dinner would actually cook itself.

Well, this very rainy winter’s night, it practically did. After just a bit of chopping and peeling, I placed all of the ingredients (below) into a pot and let them bubble away. In just over 30 minutes, dinner was ladled and served.

To caveat, this soup contains a bit of rice which, we just happened to have leftover in the refrigerator. If you have quinoa, rice, or noodles, or really any starch of your choosing, you could employ it here. Improvise with this one, and taste taste as you cook.
