A few months back I was honored with the invitation to sit down and chat with my dear friend + Boulder-based designer Jay Ferracane of Angry Bovine during his Caffeinated Mornings series. These first Friday events are all about bringing creators, makers and designers together and it’s not often that chefs (or folks in the culinary world) are considered in this light, and so I was over the moon to talk about my unexpected journey as an athlete, a chef, and a person with a passion for food (and a penchant for pain.)
