No-Churn Chocolate Ice Cream

It seems that I over-bought vegetables at the farmer’s market again…which makes for a great excuse to have a picnic in the park with friends to share the bounty. And for dessert? Something that doesn’t need to be baked for SURE. Like the No-Churn Ice Cream we made a few weeks ago LIVE!

It just so happens that I whipped up a second batch of this beauty to share with spread out on picnic blankets tonight, and so it seemed an opportune time to share the recipe for those of you who missed it, or are looking for follow along on the live broadcast, or who just want to give it a whirl.

The brilliance of this ice cream (in my humble opinion) is the addition of dates to the mix, which sweeten the deal naturally and also don’t freeze…so it makes for a bit more scoopable ice cream in the end. Note that it’s very important that you leave the ‘cream out on the countertop for 15-20 minutes to let it soften before you scoop for best results!

Without further ado, I’ll share this one here – I hope that it gets mixed into your week in the sweetest way!

Happy Monday, all!
