Frosé Popsicles

Hi friends!

Things have been pretty quiet around the kitchen these days, what with the book now being in a stage where it demands all of my attention at the computer instead of the stove. I’ve been making lots of fried egg salads, bowls of rice with whatever condiments are in the fridge, and because it’s been BRUTALLY hot, I’ve been making popsicles like a crazy person.

I found one of my favorite summer time frozen treats while flipping through my recipe journal the other day – the Frosé Popsicles above. It’s a recipe we used when I was at Cured last summer for a sweet finish to our farm dinner and they were a huge hit. We served them in tiny Dixie cups that required peeling the paper away from the popsicle, and passed them around to guests on shiny silver platters as the sun faded behind the mountains, and the twinkling stars competed with the bare bulbed string-lights casting a warm glow over the tables.

The recipe itself is simple (though perhaps illegible in the photo above:)
