I make a breakfast crisp like this the night before days that are full-on – when I don’t want to have to do more than scoop something into my mouth. It’s my equivalent to pouring cereal into a bowl, but warm, balancing + grounding. The house smells like caramel for the rest of the day, and I feel like I did something really kind for myself (which is important if the rest of the day feels like a slay.)
This crisp is basically an inverted oatmeal – with more baked fruit than oats, but all of the same ingredients. Make it a complete meal w/the addition of some ghee + yogurt and get into your day!
If plums are no longer in season where you are, sub in pears, apples or pumpkin but get this morning treat into your rotation.
