Little slices have been sloughed off in the late afternoons when my baby-making duties start to whittle away at my blood sugar. And, these bars sustained me and a small squad of the pro skiers at Sister Summit this week as a 2-hour drive turned into an 8-hour drive between Kelowna and Revelstoke in the Canadian Rockies. These little bars are unforgettable and undeniably delicious for all of these reasons.
But, they’re also notable because this is the LAST RECIPE that will be offered on the Patreon platform! Just from looking at these bars, it’s clear to see there are a few (delicious, gooey, tantalizing) layers. Don’t be afraid of the layers! These bars are remarkably easy to make, put together, and even to coat with chocolate. My sister and I put them together on a snowy day and then headed out for a weekend of hiking – it was a super enjoyable process and one that you are sure to enjoy if you’re the only one in the kitchen, and even more if your partner, little people, family and friends are helping you out.
